Gmail provides some wonderful tools to manage your mails like tags, filters and labels. The following hack enables you to easily create numerous gmail ids from your gmail id.
You can add any word to you gmail id with plus sign and the mail will be delivered to your account as usual. For example, if you id is xyz@gmail.com , you can create ids like
 xyz+personal@gmail.com
 xyz+business@gmail.com,
xyz+spam@gmail.com.
Now you can create filters to automatically filter mails coming to these id in respective folders. One very good use of this hack can be while registering to many sites on net. Once you register to these sites, they start bombarding your mail box with spam mails. You can register to these sites with id xyz+spam@gmail.com and all mails coming to this id will automatically go to spam folder (you have to create the filter).
