Death In Installments
The divine beauty of chaste, untouched morning lilies
The symphony of bird chirping, leaves whistling
Sun rays, kissing dew on grass
Fail to attract me, fail to invite me.
Starving crying babies with imploring eyes
Trembling hand, finding food in garbage cans
A debile, rickety mother fighting infantile questions
Fail to invoke me, fail to provoke me.
Bouquet of roses, candle lit dinners
Love ballads, lilting melodies
Melting whispers, the rosy touch
Fail to enchant me, fail to captivate me.
The dreaded, inconceivable is happening
The eternal is dying to save the carnal
And I am getting death, in installments.

Lovers cannot be rationals, Rationals cannot be lovers.
Love is a word made of two vowels, two consonants and two fools.
How true is the above statement ?
Very true.
Love cannot happen between two rational beings. So am I trying to say that all the lovers are fools or irrational being ? Have you ever studied what happens when you are in love? When love occurs, it takes control of mind. Heart starts to rule over mind. Logic fails. Rationale goes out of the system. You are ready to die for a girl/boy, you have just met, you had no relation with earlier. You remeber each inane/trivial detail about him/her. Your mind/brain which failed to remember, the class notes after reading nth time, suddenly has become so efficient that it remembers each everything about him/her withouut any efforts.
All persons, even hardcore rational beings, starts suffering from pangs of irrationality, whenever the matter is related with love, their love.
How can you explain, sitting in front of your lover and looking at his/her face, the joy you get is beyond explanation ? Can you get the same kind of joy, sitting in front of person other than your lover. No. You change your daily routine, the person who refused to leave bed before 8 o’ Clock, can be seen moving around the house of his/her love, to just get a glimpse of his/her love. Take her/his name, and see him/her face turning red, eyes twinkle. Is there any logic behind it. No. There is no logic behind it.
Your heart is not bound of any logic. And thank God for it. If there had been no heart, brain could have made life dull and not worth living.
Come Back..
Dreams are still there
In tearful eyes,
Though a little blurred
A little hazy.
Still heart lingers in your memory
Every voice seems yours
Every moment, I feel you
Every place I see you,
Smiling
Holding those wild flowers
Can’t you come back..
Once again
To hold me in arms
To give meaning to my life
To be destination of my journey
Can’t you come back..
From the heaven above.
Murphy’s and some other laws of love
All the good ones are taken.
If the person isn’t taken, there’s a reason.
Love is the delusion that one woman differs from another.
The nicer someone is, the farther away (s)he is from you.
Love is the triumph of imagination over intelligence.
Brains x Beauty x Availability = Constant (the Cunningham-Isherwood Law).
The amount of love someone feels for you is inversely proportional to how much you love them.
You don’t get to choose. You just fall.
A man can be happy with any woman as long as he doesn’t love her.
Money can’t buy love, but it sure gets you a great bargaining position.
The best things in the world are free — and worth every penny of it.
Every kind action has a not-so-kind reaction.
Love and eggs are best when they are fresh.
Nice guys (girls) finish last.
Of all forms of caution, caution in love is perhaps the most fatal to true happiness”. ~ Bertrand Russell
Availability is a function of time. The minute you get interested is the minute they find someone else.
The best way to hold a man is in your arms.
The more you judge, the less you love.
The game of love is never called off on account of darkness.
True love is giving all you have to someone you know you’re going to lose
Going Insane
Crossing a dark river
Moving like a just separated lizard tail
Feeling dejected, overcoming pain
Looking beyond this life inane
Companion, friend, guide, mentor
What do these words mean?
Thinking over these terms
And going insane…..
Don’t ask me not to love you.
I’m not begging you to love me
I’m not really even asking you.
But, isn’t it alright
If I cherish that hope in my heart?
If I dream of just holding your hand,
It will hurt me — not you.
I will try to keep my eyes from shining
When they see you.
And I promise
I will not try not to smile a special smile
When you say hello.
But, please
Don’t ask me
Not to love you.
P.S.- Vinitha, I hope you dont mind, as the message is to spread love. OK!
